David E. Bernier, Esq.

    Dave began practicing law in 1982. His areas of expertise include Commercial Law, Elder Law, Probate Law, and Civil Litigation. He attended Villanova University and obtained a Bachelor's degree from Colby College. He received his law degree from the St. Louis University Law School.

    Dave is a trustee of the Waterville Public Library,  board member of the Kennebec Valley Community Action Program, member of the executive committee of Delta Ambulance and is an appointed Dedimus Justice. He is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and National Organization of Social Security Claimants Representatives. David is active in the Waterville and Maine State Bar Associations and Elder Law Section, formerly the Mayor of Waterville, former chairman of the Waterville City Council and former member of the Mt. Merici Board of Overseers.

    On a personal note, Dave was born in Waterville, Maine, where he currently resides with his wife and three children.
